Description
A painting of an iconic scene at Big Bend National Park in Texas known as "The Window". It's was 20 years before my 2nd trip to this National Park in which I took the inspiration photo. Located in the most southwest corner of Texas, bordering Mexico, the park's landscape encompasses the entire Chisos Mountain range and a large area of the Chihuahuan Desert. It is one of the largest, most remote, and one of the least visited national parks in the United States. With beautiful mountain peaks, spectacular vistas, numerous hiking trails, star lit skies and rich history it is worth the drive and continues to be my favorite place in Texas!
