The scattered cacti Saguaros under a partly cloudy sky make it a beautiful day in Arizona.
The defining plant of the Sonoran Desert can grow up to 40 feet tall and can live to be 150-200 years old. Nature uses every color in her palette to create a masterpiece. Blue skies and partly cloudy days can be just as beautiful as the sunrises and sunsets there!

Welcome and thank you for visiting my online gallery! My work is a celebration of my sense of adventure and deep connection I feel with nature. I grew up in the desert region of Texas and have so many fond memories of family vacations to the surrounding attractions including some in New Mexico and Arizona. That might explain why southwestern landscapes are my favorite! I work in acrylics with a combination of brush and knife applications, gravitating towards realism with a focus on color. However, I also like to experiment with a variety of techiniques and styles including semi-abstracts.
