Brilliant and bold foliage glistens as the warm golden light weaves through the trees.
My goal was to create a visual sensation through light, color and texture. I chose to utilize a sponge, palette knife and had a little fun finger painting with metallics for this impressionistic forest scene.
About Roseanne Schellenberger
Welcome and thank you for visiting my online gallery! My work is a celebration of my sense of adventure and deep connection I feel with nature. I grew up in the desert region of Texas and have so many fond memories of family vacations to the surrounding attractions including some in New Mexico and Arizona. That might explain why southwestern landscapes are my favorite! I work in acrylics with a combination of brush and knife applications, gravitating towards realism with a focus on color. However, I also like to experiment with a variety of techiniques and styles including semi-abstracts. When I'm not painting I enjoy being outdoors, traveling the open road, hiking the trails, photography and planning the next adventure. -Roseanne...
