A partially open turquoise door offers an inviting welcome in this southwest inspired painting. Warm saltillo tile, adobe walls, a chile ristra, terra cotta potted plants and cacti add to the rustic charm that is reminiscent of the hacienda style outdoor living spaces of the american southwest.

Welcome and thank you for visiting my online gallery! My work is a celebration of my sense of adventure and deep connection I feel with nature. I grew up in the desert region of Texas and have so many fond memories of family vacations to the surrounding attractions including some in New Mexico and Arizona. That might explain why southwestern landscapes are my favorite! I work in acrylics with a combination of brush and knife applications, gravitating towards realism with a focus on color. However, I also like to experiment with a variety of techiniques and styles including semi-abstracts.
