I love the view of the oaks from my front porch. On this fall November day, as the sun begins to set to the west, shadows are cast and the leaves glow in brilliant oranges on this one tree. The other trees on the property had not started to change color or loose their leaves yet.
To my knowledge the home and many of the trees here are over 90 years old. This majestic oak with the double trunk is my absolute favorite one.

Welcome and thank you for visiting my online gallery! My work is a celebration of my sense of adventure and deep connection I feel with nature. I grew up in the desert region of Texas and have so many fond memories of family vacations to the surrounding attractions including some in New Mexico and Arizona. That might explain why southwestern landscapes are my favorite! I work in acrylics with a combination of brush and knife applications, gravitating towards realism with a focus on color. However, I also like to experiment with a variety of techiniques and styles including semi-abstracts.
