This is the view my sister and her family get to enjoy by their home in Germany. The scene is of the vast rapeseed fields in Hesse with the Taunus Mountain range in the background. They are not alpine giant mountains, often referred to as hills, but are popular with the locals for hiking and mountain biking. The hill shown here is called Kellerskopf. It provides a beautiful backdrop for the farmhouses and the"cut your own" Christmas tree farm in the yellow flowering valley below.

Welcome and thank you for visiting my online gallery! My work is a celebration of my sense of adventure and deep connection I feel with nature. I grew up in the desert region of Texas and have so many fond memories of family vacations to the surrounding attractions including some in New Mexico and Arizona. That might explain why southwestern landscapes are my favorite! I work in acrylics with a combination of brush and knife applications, gravitating towards realism with a focus on color. However, I also like to experiment with a variety of techiniques and styles including semi-abstracts.
