A canopy of leaves are a blaze with brilliant hues of yellows and reds as the sunlight filters through casting shadows on the road that disappears in the horizon inviting you further in.
Created using a combination of a photo reference and a fond memory of a drive through the forest on a late September day.
About Roseanne Schellenberger
Welcome and thank you for visiting my online gallery! My work is a celebration of my sense of adventure and deep connection I feel with nature. I grew up in the desert region of Texas and have so many fond memories of family vacations to the surrounding attractions including some in New Mexico and Arizona. That might explain why southwestern landscapes are my favorite! I work in acrylics with a combination of brush and knife applications, gravitating towards realism with a focus on color. However, I also like to experiment with a variety of techiniques and styles including semi-abstracts. When I'm not painting I enjoy being outdoors, traveling the open road, hiking the trails, photography and planning the next adventure. -Roseanne...
