Nature produces some of the most beautiful colors in the fall . The perfect amount of moisture, sun and temperature will result in the most vibrant hues. Brilliant gold is the most prominent color in the mountains of Red River New Mexico during this time of year.
About Roseanne Schellenberger
Welcome and thank you for visiting my online gallery! My work is a celebration of my sense of adventure and deep connection I feel with nature. I grew up in the desert region of Texas and have so many fond memories of family vacations to the surrounding attractions including some in New Mexico and Arizona. That might explain why southwestern landscapes are my favorite! I work in acrylics with a combination of brush and knife applications, gravitating towards realism with a focus on color. However, I also like to experiment with a variety of techiniques and styles including semi-abstracts. When I'm not painting I enjoy being outdoors, traveling the open road, hiking the trails, photography and planning the next adventure. -Roseanne...

Returning to one of my favorites paintings of yours, Roseanne! Reminds me of our own Catalina Mountains. I hope some Aspens survived the 6 week long Big Iron Forest Fire. It was heartbreaking to see the massive flames at night and huge plumes of smoke during the day....your art here is always a big favorite!
